SECURE Act 2.0: The Impact on Elder and Special Needs Planning

Retirement benefits are “special assets” because of the special tax rules that govern them. Some of these special tax rules have been modified by the SECURE Act and SECURE 2.0.

In December 2022, the Consolidated Appropriations Act was signed into law, which contained provisions known as SECURE 2.0 that will affect retirement outcomes in the near and far future.

During the recorded webinar, Mark Munson, Attorney at Ruder Ware, identifies the changes made by the SECURE Act and SECURE 2.0 so that planners can assist their clients with planning for retirement benefits.

Webinar Recorded: April 11, 2023
Presenter: Mark Munson, CELA, Attorney, Ruder Ware, L.L.S.C.
Duration: 60 minutes
