The Elder Law Immersion and Practice-Building Camp is truly unlike any CLE you’ve attended.

This program will get you up-to-speed on the legal-technical rules and strategies needed to become an accomplished and knowledgeable Medicaid planning attorney.  You’ll also learn integral practice building structures to determine what type of practice you want and how to get there, in addition to innovative marketing strategies that’ll help you expand your clientele and elevate your practice.

There are opportunities to network with fellow attorneys and interact with industry experts within your class. And the best part…we stay connected with you for a year to ensure you are supported the entire time while learning this new practice area.

What You Get With Registration
Registration for this course includes a full year program that starts before you even come together for three days.

Prior to the camp, you will be guided through a five-part video series to lay the foundation of elder law. You will also complete a “Getting to know your Medicaid rules” assignment. Access to these items are given as soon as you register. Fully completing these items will help deepen your overall knowledge of Medicaid planning and you’ll get the most out of this program. We will also go over these items during your pre-camp call which typically takes place 1 week before the camp.

Immediately following the three day camp, you’ll go through an implementation series where you will review how to draft documents and be able to ask questions in a live question and answer session. This will give you peace of mind that what you are doing is correct and engrave the skills you’ve been taught. There are also monthly on-demand courses and follow up calls to facilitate your continued training.

3-day course qualifies for up to 13.25 hours total CLE, 1 hour ethics
Pre-approved: AR, CA, CO, FL, HI, MT, ND, NJ, NY, PA
Pending Approval: OH, KS
Attorney will self apply in states not listed.

Webcast Requirements
This event requires a great deal of participation from attendees. We highly recommend attending in-person if at all possible. If you opt to attend via live webcast, we ask that you prepare accordingly by following the guidelines below:

  1. Be prepared to share your webcam. This will allow attendees and presenters to see you and more easily interact with you during the event. If you do not have a webcam, below are a few suggestions with varying price points.
  2. Be sure your Internet speed will support streaming the workshop.
    • You must have an Internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps. We strongly recommend a wired connection. You may learn your speed at
    • A quiet place without interruptions
    • A working microphone
    • Google Chrome as your recommended browser
    • Close other applications and bandwidth heavy items such as cloud applications that require continuous syncing
    • Headphones are recommended for listening.
  3. If at all possible, make plans to participate from a location outside of your office. This event requires participation from attendees and if you are interrupted by work demands you (and other attendees) will not get the full benefit from the event and it will be disruptive for everyone.
  4. Come ready to participate, learn, and have fun!
