Larry Berren has been advising and representing Rhode Island and Massachusetts residents for 30 years. A Providence native and Classical High graduate, he received his B.S. from Boston University in 1970. He spent the next seven years playing jazz piano and contemplating his future. His future turned out to be law school, and in 1980 he graduated from Franklin Pierce Law Center as Editor-in-Chief of its Annual Law Survey. After a brief stint teaching legal research and writing at the University of Missouri Law School, Mr. Berren returned to Rhode Island where he counsels individuals, families, same sex couples and business owners in estate, special needs, asset protection, business succession, retirement, tax and charitable planning. He is a principal in the Berren Law Firm, located in East Providence.
