Many prominent elder law attorneys have successfully incorporated VA planning into their practices as a complement to Medicaid planning. You are doing a disservice to your clients if you’re not knowledgeable about this area of the law. If you’ve done planning previously, this will also serve as a refresher course.
Before an attorney is able to practice before the VA, they must take specific CLE classes to become an accredited agent. This three-hour webinar satisfies that requirement. It will also make attendees feel comfortable discussing benefits that their clients may be entitled to receive (in some cases in excess of $2,000/mo.), and how to advise clients on strategies to become eligible to receive these benefits.
Topics for this webinar include:
- Representation Before the VA
- Claims Procedures
- Basic Eligibility for VA Benefits
- Disability Compensation
- Dependency and Indemnity Compensation
- Improved Pension
- Right to Appeal
Video recording of course and materials included with registration.
