Education Overview

Education that elevates your practice

ElderCounsel provides education in the areas of elder law (including Medicaid planning), special needs planning and veterans pension planning.

Our education covers not only substantive legal theory and strategies, but we also show how to draft the documents that incorporate the legal theory and strategies we teach.
And we provide that education in various venues — webinars, teleconferences and live events — in an effort to reach as many attorneys as possible in the most cost-effective way possible.

We provide a number of educational teleconferences and webinars (found in the Document Library) at no cost to members which focus on helping members understand substantive areas of law as well as teleconferences designed to help them build or grow their practice. In addition, we provide members with a number of drafting webinars designed to help members become more proficient at using ElderDocx®, our document assembly software. These, too, are at no cost to members.

At the heart of our educational offerings are our live educational events. Offered several times throughout the year, our live events give members a chance to interact with other elder law and special needs planning attorneys and to share ideas, get to know other ElderCounsel members and principals, all while learning substantive law and how to draft certain legal documents (and having fun doing it!).
